I didnt know there was a Daryl Somers show. I was 10 in 1983 and we had 2 channels back then (this was Port Douglas 70km above Cairns in QLD) Maybe it was on but I never saw it. Of course I know Hey,Hey.

You know what's so funny about Daryl Somers - he never really changed up his mannerism, how he presented, in the decades he was on TV. You can put him in any decade and he'd still be like this. A real evergreen!

So so many people try to be funny and you can see or hear it's forced. Not John Blackman though. We've lost a truly talented and funny man. He didn't deserve the struggles of his last few years. Only the good die young! Thanks for all the very happy memories, and thanks Daryl for sharing them again.
